Poltava sintered diamond wheels are manufactured in the Ukraine to very high standards and have greater depth of diamond than many other sintered wheels. This makes them extremely durable with a very long working life.

Sintered diamond wheels will outlast single layer wheels (such as brazed and electroplated wheels) many times over.

Full 5mm deep diamond matrix exposes new cutting points as the wheels are used. Sintered wheels can be dressed to expose additional crystals for a more agressive cut, but dressing is not always needed if you follow a "side to side" pattern when grinding to ensure even wear.

Superior engineering reduces the wheel weight.

Dynamic balancing at the factory ensures concentricity for smooth and quiet grinding.

Generally order one grit size coarser for sintered diamond tools as compared to plated or brazed parts.
