Safe Operating Speeds For Saw Blades
This chart shows the recommended operating speeds for a range of saw blades. For some blades the range of speeds is quite broad and should be matched to the blade thickness and the material being cut.
As a rule of thumb, the faster speeds are required for thinner rimmed saw blades and softer material. Thicker saw blades and harder material require slower speeds.
