Please read the item description as all grit kits are not the same! This tumbling grit kit is designed to replenish all of the grits and polish for your rock tumbler.

Our grits are "finely graded", this means that when you purchase 80 grit silicon carbide you get exactly what is described. Many tumbling grits are "loosely graded", so the coarse grit may be a mix of anything from 60 to 90 grit.

Our tumbling grits come in clear plastic jars with screw tops. They are colour coded for ease of selection, and you can easily see how much grit is remaining. This is a much better system than storing your grits in plastic bags.

The 4 Step Tumbling Kit Includes:

1 Jar of 80 Grit Silicon Carbide Grit 500 Grams

1 Jar of 240 Grit Silicon Carbide Grit 500 Grams

1 Jar of Silicon Carbide Grit 600 Grit 400 Grams

1 Jar of Aluminium Oxide Final Polish Powder 200 Grams

1 Bag of reusable plastic pellets 300 Grams

500 Gram package of mixed tumbling stones

The plastic pellets are added to each load and act as a buffer between the rocks as well as helping to carry the grit. Our rough stones are a mix of Australian and overseas rock and can include agates and fossilised wood. Handle with care as some rocks are quite sharp.

Cheaper kits will give you much smaller quantities of grits. Before buying elsewhere check the quantities that are being sold! Our kit is great value for money.
