Wheel Mandrel Stepped Shaft 3mm with 1/4" Screw

This mandrel is used in rotary tools such as Dremel's, Micro Motors, and flex shaft Grinders.

Shaft size is 3.00mm.

Total length is 55mm.

The mandrel is made from stainless steel for durability and strength.

The screw in head has a length of approximately 10mm and is 6.35mm (1/4 Inch) diameter. This mandrel is designed to accept larger discs and wheels with a 1/4" centre hole.

The mandrel is stepped to allow for a larger diameter at the working end for added strength. However you should take care when using larger wheels in rotary tools and not exceed the manufacturers speed recommendations. When using large wheels and discs you should insert the shaft as far as possible into your rotary tool. Excess speeds and weighs can result in bent shafts on the mandrels and parts coming loose at high speeds.
