Diamond Flat Lap 200mm (8 inch) 100 Grit

This product consists of a circular steel disc that is plated with diamond grit on one surface only.

200mm x 1.50mm x 12.5 mm bore (8" x 0.05" x 0.5" bore). The lap is approximately 2mm thick and is used in conjunction with a master lap.

They are available in 100 mesh through 3000 mesh and all the prices for the various grits are the same cost.

Excellent quality, commercial grade, long life and fast cutting. Can be used for faceting. flat lapping or grinding gemstones. These are fast cutting, heavy duty diamond discs and are ideal for all types of gemstones grinding, faceting or cabbing.

These products must be used with water.

Care Of Steel Diamond Plated Products
At the end of each working day stack any laps vertically to dry (a dish draining rack is good for this).
Care should be taken to dry any steel diamond plated disks and steel backing plates. A light spray of Inox or WD40 between uses will help prevent surface rust forming. Do not use chemicals such as rust converters on the plated disks as the chemicals may destroy the plating and cause even greater rusting.
