FACETING LAP STARTER PACK

This is a lap collection that is suitable for you if you are purchasing a new or used faceting machine.

The master lap is used as a base for the diamond plated topper laps.

The finishing laps are fully manufactured in Australia and machined to a high standard. This is important as the machining of the laps is crucial to your final finish.

Cheaper overseas made polishing laps are generally machined to a poor standard leaving a corrugated surface.

We provide only the best DeBeers diamond powder. Recognised by facetors as the best quality diamond powder in the world.

The starter pack includes the following 150mm (6:") Laps.

Master Lap - Australian made to a very high standard in Ballina. 

Premium Solid Copper  Lap -  Pre-polishing lap. Australian made in Ballina

Type Metal Lap - Finish lap that will give you a brilliant finish, especially on hard stones.  Australian made in Ballina. 

Diamond Plated Lap 180 Grit - For roughing out and preforming. You can select a finer grit if you prefer.

Diamond Plated Lap 320 Grit - For cutting your facets.

Diamond Plated Lap 600 Grit - For cutting your facets.

3000 Grit Diamond Spray - For use on the copper lap.

50,000 Grit Diamond Spray - For use on the Type Metal lap.
