The gem torch includes a 18650 rechargeable battery and USB battery charger. This is a very powerful yet compact torch for examining gem rough in the field.

It comes with two detachable plastic nose cones to give you a convergent light that ensures a clear inspection of the stone.The ultra bright light gives you great penetrability and helps identify inclusions, flaws and cracks in gemstones.

It also includes 365nm UV LED light, a yellow LED, and a bright white LED. You can switch between the different modes by a gentle press of the on/off switch.

The UV light is used to check minerals and gems for fluorescence. Some natural diamonds(about 25% - 35%) will fluoresce, synthetic diamonds will never do so.

PLEASE NOTE:

Ensure the battery in the torch is the correct direction, positive end to the spring. 

Additionally understand that the (UV LED) takes more power than the other lights. If this function seems to be dim or not working please ensure your battery is fully charged.
