SLS Polishing Belts

SLSpolish belts are used with diamond compound, produce a beautiful finish on nearly all lapidary stones.

These polishing belts have been designed to eliminate orange peel and undercutting. SLS polish belts are excellent for final polishing, using 3000, 8000, 14000 and 50000 mesh diamond compound.

They have the necessary drag to flow finish a gemstone. The belts are resin treated to prevent the diamond compound from disappearing through the belt.

Use SLS GemLube Silicone Extender Fluid with the diamond compound. Do not use water.

These belts are designed to suit rubber expandable drums and come in three sizes:

150mm diameter by 38mm wide. (6" x 1.5")

150mm diameter by 65mm wide. (6"x 2.5")

200mm diameter by 75mm wide. (8" x 3")

NOTE: The green side of the belt is for charging with compound.
