For jewellers these burrs can be used for reshaping metal as well as removing or smoothing over file marks or scratched surfaces. They are also widely used for cleaning seams off castings and removing excess solder, and are especially good at getting into hard to reach places.

For gemstone carving they offer a budget alternative to resin bonded diamond burrs. They do not last as long as diamond but the are much lower in price.

These Rotary Polishing Tools are made with 2.35mm (3/32”) shanks and are optimised for use in a Dental style Lab Hand piece or Foredom machine, they can also be used in a Dremel or most any other rotary machine equipped with a 2.35mm collet or a variable chuck.
