Our premium carving burr set comes in its own attractive and practical wooden storage box. The 100 hole box gives you plenty of room to add burrs as you refine your carving techniques.

20 Piece Premium Carving Burr set with 2.35mm Shaft & 50,000# Diamond Compound (can substitute with cerium oxide compound if requested). 

This is a complete set for grinding, sanding & polishing with quality burrs. This set is ideal for soft stones such as turquoise or opal. We recommend some extra steps such as 8,000 grit and 14,000 grit for harder stones such as sapphire.

IMPORTANT!

Diamond plated burrs have only a thin coat of diamond, they will wear down relatively quickly. Sintered burrs and Nova Points will last longer. To get the best out of your burrs use plenty of water, slow speed on your rotary tool and not a lot of pressure.

Grinding:

Includes 2 Sintered diamond burrs. These burrs are fully sintered to the mandrel, making them extremely durable and efficient while also giving the burr a longer life span and better performance.
1x sintered diamond burrs in #100 grit (Green band). 
1x sintered diamond burrs in #170 grit (Blue band).

4 x Diamond plated burrs in #320 grit, (Red band). In bullet and barrel shapes.
4 x Diamond plated burrs in #600 grit, (Yellow band). In bullet and barrel shapes. 
There are many different shapes - this is just a sample.

Sanding - Pre Polishing:

4 x genuine Nova Points which are high quality resin bonded diamond products manufactured completely in the USA by Diamond Pacific. (Black 280#, Brown 600#, Grey 1200#, Pink 3000#)

Final Polishing:

4 x Felt Points in assorted shapes

1 x  50,000# SLS Australian Made diamond compound.
