Metal clay has evolved into one of the fastest growing jewelry mediums, and while it is a process that allows jewelry makers who are not metal-savvy to make metal jewelry, there is still a great deal to learn and master.

Haab covers all the basics from tools to how to fire, but she goes further and also breaks projects down into various techniques such as carving, working with molds, setting stones, epoxy resin, even incorporating fused glass and polymer clay into metal clay designs.

The inclusion of the DVD is probably the icing on the cake for this book. It's an hour long DVD which includes the same printed material found the book, but it has four new projects, all taught by the author. The DVD is very easy to follow with clear images.
