OVAL WOODEN BRACELET MANDREL
Our wood bracelet mandrel is perfect for shaping and removing dents or kinks from bangles or bracelets made of softer, non-ferrous metals. Metals are still best to be aneald and at a thinner gauge in order to shape well. Hit with a forgiving rawhide or nylon hammer will allow the metal to form around the wood.
The oval hardwood bracelet mandrel measures 385mm long.
The Oval at the wide end measures 62mm x 47mm
The Oval at the narrow end measures 34mm x 28mm
Note: Steel mandrels will take more abuse than wood mandrels. Depending on your purpose a steel hammer would be more durable for forging thicker and harder metals.
